Our new CD with the world premiere recordings of the string quartets No. 1 in c minor op. 25 and No. 3 in F major op. 51 by Friedrich Gernsheim has just been released by the  label cpo and is now available in stores. In the spring of 2020 we will continue the recording of Gernsheim’s chamber music for strings with his string quintet No. 2 in B flat major op. 89 together with Alexander Hülshoff, violoncello.

On 11.5.2019 we will present the CD in a concert in the Max Joseph Saal in Munich. In addition to the 3rd String Quartet by Friedrich Gernsheims, you will also hear string quartets by Dmitri Shostakovich and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy.
